Ghost City Rising 0.1

Ghost City Rising is a surreal game in which you must make your way to the top of a tower block which is filled with haunted furniture, you can collect weapons with which to attack the furniture and the eagle eyed amongst you will be able to spot which pieces of furniture are haunted and primed to attack you as they sport a pair of giant eyes, although it becomes much more obvious once the furniture opens its eyes and then you know it is about ready to attack and can counter it by smacking it with an iron pole or whatever weapon you may have at that time, you can also collect other items in your left hand that can be thrown at the haunted furniture.

The game is still in early development and is a little rough around the edges, the graphics are kind of old school and a little blocky but Ghost City Rising certainly is fun and silly. It’s not that easy though you only get one life and once your health bar reaches zero its back to the start you go.

There’s a lot of fun to be had in this game and as simple as it may look there’s a certain purity in just running round smashing up furniture even when it is in self-defense oh and don’t forget to collect the eyes when you have defeated a piece of furniture, you will face, tables, chairs, cookers and more as you try to get to the top of the building.
