GirlJail Review

GirlJail is a simple “Bullet Hell” style game where you don’t actually fight back but just have to dodge, duck and dive your way to avoid certain death.

You get three lives (or HP) as it’s known in game and as a giant woman who is sentencing you to death overlooks and makes the odd comment about your jail sentence you must try to avoid the ever increasing bad guys shooting at you and the weirder weapons such as syringes that try to shoot you.

The system in GirlJail and even the design is very similar to that of Undertale and it’s a little disappointing that the idea of this has clearly been copied from the battle system of Undertale however everyone loved Undertale and this may actually add to its popularity, it does have minor differences and the bullet hell effect certainly makes it a bit more intense but it’s hard to not to feel it’s not a particularly original game, although don’t let that stop you from enjoying it.
