Leadersheep 1.0

Leadersheep is a small simulation game made for one of the recent game jams within the space of 48 hours and it’s actually really nicely put together with some enjoyable music and a kind of combating the militia feel. As the people arrive and start walking towards the grand leader’s headquarters you must place buildings around to break their propaganda induced state so as to get them to join the rebels force and meaning you can use those people to make more buildings which in turn will hopefully help you convert more people from sheeple in to rebels and join your side.

There’s a lot of potential here however there is one fundamental flaw in the game, it seems almost impossible to get the sheeple to change in to rebels no matter what tactics you use and as you have only a limited amount of rebels to start with it’s almost impossible to work out a tactic that will have enough power to get the sheeples defenses down from 100% to 0 and on to your side.

Having watched a few YouTube videos on Leadersheep it seems that this may actually be something to do with the resolution and the highest resolution you play at the more difficult it is, however even lowering the resolution seemed to make no difference and this did become quite frustrating and took away from the enjoyment of the game knowing that progress will never be possible however this may not be the case for everyone and if it works for you then it certainly is a fun and unique game.
