Do Lego ever get it wrong? Before we were able to play any type of game we want online we had to amuse ourselves with non digital toys and Lego was always one of the best providing us with the materials to let our imaginations run free, but now they have adapted for the digital age and their movie tie in games are some of the best around always great looking full of humor and with cinematic, exciting game play and Lego Lord of the Rings is no exception.

It’s always great to see famous movie scenes remade with Lego characters but even better when it’s interactive and in this game they really draw you straight in to the action starting out with an epic battle at the top of your castle you switch between Legolas, Aragorn and Gimli each with unique skills, you will need to use all three characters to win the battle switching between them at the right places to defeat the enemies and stop them from putting ladders up the side of the castle and being able to enter and attack you.

The graphics are top quality and the game play is lots of fun, the soundtrack is also rather grandiose and fits perfectly with such an epic game, also because it’s Lego although there is some mild violence this really can be enjoyed by people of all ages and there is plenty of humor also a trait that Lego and game developers Travellers Tales never seem to forget in their series of great games.
