Low Quality Zardy Review
Last Updated: 2021-04-27 04:51:37
Friday Night Funkin' has been a massive hit among the gaming community. It is insanely stylish while also hitting the nostalgia switch with its art style. It's also incredibly moddable, with practically every asset it has being editable. The community has created some amazing mods and one of the best is Low Quality Zardy, a mod that is a living "so bad it's good" mod.
To install Low Quality Zardy, simply drag and drop the files from the mod into the folder where you extracted the original game files.
This mod puts its strongest foot forward just from the visuals alone. The entire game has been degraded into a hilariously low 144p, to the point where the boyfriend and girlfriend are using their pixel form. The crops in the background have also been replaced by an easy and hilariously awful looking background. Zardy himself is now a simple jpeg of a spooky pumpkin on top of a crappy looking scarecrow and a mic just haphazardly attached to his hand. His "animations" are practically all gone, with each pose being a simple rotate tool.
The song itself is the same, except all the vocals are now bass boosted. Mercifully, they're not bass boosted to absolutely ridiculous levels that will blow your ears out, and they aren't actually that distracting at all. Instead, you can focus on the sheer ridiculousness of the mod itself.
Low Quality Zardy is one of the funniest mods in the scene for sure. This running trend of taking good levels and making them a joke is one I personally appreciate.
