Monolith Review

Monolith is a retro style space ship shooter game with randomly generated levels so that each time that you play it you will start with a different level to the last one however be warned it’s not that easy depending on the level you can come under heavy attack from all sorts of bad guys from the very start.

This is just the demo version but it features the first two floors to get through with some extremely tough enemies and bosses to defeat you can also get upgrades to your ship to make it much easier to destroy those pesky enemies so there is definitely a good amount of game play to be found in Monolith and a decent amount of time to pass whilst playing it, whilst you can see it’s clearly influenced by old school space shooter games it’s also incredibly intense and there is not much time to take stock as bullets are constantly flying in your direction luckily the varying levels keep it fresh each time you have to restart and you will have to a good fair few times!

You’ll need a lot of luck, practice and skill to reach the second floor but the game is a lot of fun and very addictive you can download the Monolith demo here for free.
