Nihility: Infinite Teeth Review

DOOM is one of the oldest FPSes in existence, and its engine is famously so robust that it can run on pretty much anything and also create pretty much anything. From FPSes to RPGs to companions to a city living game, it has a ton of different mods and maps that can all do different things. One of the many is Nihility: Infinite Teeth.
To install Nihility: Infinite Teeth, you need to have ZDoom and move the WAD file into the GZDoom folder, which is pretty par for the course for DOOM maps.
The locations all look like the Doomed Deimos base, but there are some very specific hints that this is taking place in your mind instead. For instance, one of the map's name is Bestrafung, which translates to punishment. Another is called Hirntod, which corresponds to brain death. Not to mention the title, Nihility and the phrase NO LIFE appearing everywhere.
There are no music tracks, which amps up the atmosphere significantly. There are a ton of ambient sounds, such as beeping computers, running water, humming machinery and more. It's delightfully unnerving.
The monsters are all the same, except for the lost soul, which will start shooting projectiles before charging. As for your tools, the weapons are all functionally the same with the exception of slightly faster fire rate on the pistol and chaingun. I didn't run into ammo limits while playing.
Overall, Nihility: Infinite Teeth is a very ambitious DOOM megaWAD that will test your tolerance to horror games.
