Minecraft, by itself, is a fantastic game that has almost limitless possibilities. However, that doesn't mean that it has everything that players want from it. After you've installed a ton of mods that you feel improve the game, however, you'll find that the number of blocks that are added can be dizzying. You may find that you're unable to keep track fo what came from what anymore. Not Enough Items aims to fix that by adding a ton of unique features.

To install Not Enough Items, you'll need to have Minecraft Forge and then run the installer, starting Minecraft with the Forge Profile. Then, place it in the mods folder.

You can access the new menu of this mod by clicking the box at the bottom of the screen in any inventory, including player inventory, chest inventory, and more. This will bring up a menu where you can search for items. Hovering over any item and pressing the R key will display that item's recipe. Pressing the U key shows what that item is used to create. Clicking the search box twice will let you search for the item in a chest or another inventory. Any items that match will have a golden outline and others will have a gray outline.

As you can imagine, losing track of things is very difficult with this mod. If you ever have issues with managing your items, then you should definitely install Not Enough Items. It gives a quality of life that will greatly enhance your experience.
