One of the more useful ones is Pawn, an addon that helps you upgrade your gear incredibly easily.

Installing Pawn is incredibly easy. Simply unzip its contents into the WoW addons folder and you're good to go. Once you boot it up, you'll need to go into your options menu to take a look at its settings. There are a ton of different things this program helps you do. Its main functionality is to help you find upgrades for your gear and tell you which of the two items is better for you. That way, you won't have to worry about the stats yourself.

In the settings menu, you can customize the stat weights to have it suggest items based on your favorite guide or simulator. However, should you feel intimidated by the options, there is also an automatic Mr Robot that will automatically suggest items to you based on your class.

If you're new, don't worry. It will automatically set itself up to give you advice based on math done by various experts - just click on the items that have a green arrow.
