Psychedelic Takedown 1.0

Psychedelic Takedown is a simple yet incredibly addictive and fun game made for a recent game jam. You play on the wrong side of the law in the aftermath of a drug deal gone bad and to make matters even worse you’re high on drugs as this happens!

You now have to run and gun your way through a bunch of police men picking up more drugs as you go which will make the game become even more psychedelic and trippy but also will help replenish your health bar.

The graphics are fairly simple but it’s in the simplicity of the game play that Psychedelic Takedown really shines, there is some kind of video game purity in a game where you just run and shoot (and collect lifesaving and mind bending drugs) and that’s where this game really shines, it won’t win any awards for innovation and is actually somewhat reminiscent of the classic Max Payne games but with a more lighthearted and fun feel to it.

As far as free first person shooters go if you want something that’s just easy to pick up and play anytime then you can’t really go wrong here and the tripping out element will provide a few laughs as you get higher with each batch of drugs you take!
