Purgatorium: A Family Torn Apart 1.0

Purgatorium: A Family Torn Apart is a tense psychological horror game with many puzzle elements.

The game is made using real actors and real video and there’s some really cool functions within the game such as having to keep the mouse centered to stop yourself from slipping out and being seen whilst your would be captor chases you.

You use a (luckily never ending) box of matches to light the areas around you then you will see certain symbols such as magnifying glasses (for areas of interest) and arrows to show you where you can switch to another location in this very creepy house or dungeon that you have found yourself in.

Purgatorium is also very difficult and the limited lighting can make it a bit more difficult to get to grips with the game, it can also become a bit confusing as to where you are in the location due to having no on screen map and no lights, but without doubt the game is very tense throughout and certainly worth playing this demo version to see just how promising this could be, but be warned it’s not for the feint hearted!
