Railgunners 1.0

Railgunners is a story driven space shooter/endless runner game where after the charming little low poly introduction and beginning of the story line which explains how the pilots can be teleported out of the space ship just before death so no one really dies in the game which is a nice little touch.

The game itself plays in a rather retro kind of asteroids style but there is also elements of bullet hell here and it’s quite a challenge, you will have to pick your battles as it is near enough impossible to destroy all the onrushing enemies so sometimes you will need to fire a few shots and then swerve out the way especially of the larger space ships that head towards.

Railgunners may not break any barriers in terms of graphics or creative ingenuity but what is does nail perfectly is classic retro style space shoot ‘em up fun and anyone looking for a free game where rather than think you can just mindlessly blast away at enemies should fine that this game fits the bill very well indeed.
