Flash game developers were incredibly ambitious despite the rather limited nature of the medium. These developers don't let that stop them, however, and so there's a ton of episodic series on the internet. Sift Heads was one that became successful and grew incredibly quickly. So quickly, in fact, that a sequel series came into existence with Sift Heads World. That finished and also spawned a sequel. Let's look at Sift Heads Cartel: Act 2.

To play Sift Heads Cartel: Act 2, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.

In this entry, you actually control all three characters. You'll start off as Shorty, who's wielding a fancy silenced weapon hidden in a bouquet, then swap off to Vinny, who's an expert sniper, then finally to Kato who's the assault expert of the group. This really fleshes out the role each member of the group has in the party. Shorty was a little out of place before, but this establishes her as the covert member of the group.

Gameplay is still the same, with the same flaws. You still pop in and out of cover during shootouts and collect scrap along the way to upgrade all the guns you collect. There is one sniping segment that plays more like a classic Sift Heads game, but it's short lived.

All in all, Sift Heads Cartel: Act 2 is a great entry into the series.
