Flash game developers were incredibly ambitious despite the rather limited nature of the medium. These developers don't let that stop them, however, and so there's a ton of episodic series on the internet. The first of the episodes in theses series tends to be some of the worst as the developer didn't have much experience at the time. Sift heads: Remasterized tries to fix the first episode in the series and bring it up to modern standards.
To play Sift Heads: Remasterized, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.
There are a ton of differences in almost everything. There is no longer any voice acting - it's all in subtitles just like the first game now. The general cinematic quality is also ridiculously improved, with flawless transitions into gameplay and just generally improved audio quality.
As for the gameplay itself, it's practically the same. Each level is redesigned and rebalanced, to the point where each enemy can take up to five headshots to kill. There is also one new level, but it's more of a cinematic and heavily scripted sequence rather than a true level.
All in all, however, Sift Heads: Remasterized definitely succeeds in bringing the first entry of the series up to modern standards, and is probably the definitive way of experiencing the first chapter of Vinnie's story now.
