Skyrim Flora Overhaul 2.6

Vanilla Skyrim has a variety of issues. Most would agree that the passage of time has not been kind to it, with a ton of people rightfully pointing out a ton of issues with it. Luckily, Skyrim has one of the largest modding scenes around and a ton of creators have dedicated themselves to fixing the game's many issues. One of them is Skyrim Flora Overhaul, a mod that serves as an essential gateway to many animation mods in Skyrim.

To install the Skyrim Flora Overhaul, drag it into the Skyrim Data folder, as well as using LOOT to determine the optimal load order so you don't crash your game constantly, much like most Skyrim mods.

Exactly as it says in the title, this mod completely overhauls the various flora in Skyrim so that the landscape looks more vibrant and varied. For instance, there are sixteen new tree models that replaces most of the default trees, giving the trees a much wider variety of appearances. There's also an improved LOD with bushes, small trees, and plants that are now visible in the distance. There are also 180+ new textures for all flora, 65+ new grass and plant models, and all the various ground textures will spawn 7 different grasses instead of 2 types by default.

Overall, if you wanted some beautiful landscapes in Skyrim, there's pretty much no reason not to install Skyrim Flora Overhaul if you have a strong computer. The landscapes this mod makes can get absolutely stunning and is a marked upgrade.
