Vanilla Skyrim has a variety of issues. Most would agree that the passage of time has not been kind to it, with a ton of people rightfully pointing out a ton of issues with it. Luckily, Skyrim has one of the largest modding scenes around and a ton of creators have dedicated themselves to fixing the game's many issues. One of them is SkyUI, which improves the UI of PC Skyrim to flow better.

To install the SkyUI, drag it into the Skyrim Data folder, as well as using LOOT to determine the optimal load order so you don't crash your game constantly, much like most Skyrim mods. This mod also requires you have the Skyrim Script Extender, so be sure to download that if you haven't already.

This mod has a ton of different features. It has convenient inventory management with a feature-rich panel that supports full-text search, sorting, and more. This extends to all menus, including crafting, enchanting, alchemy and smithing. You can also mark items as favorites and easily access them in the special added favorites menu. You might think that just because it's a mod for PC that it's optimized around keyboard navigation, but it's also incredibly intuitive for gamepads. On top of that, it supports multiple languages, including Japanese, German, Russian, Polish, Czech and more.

Overall, SkyUI serves as the basis for many other mods and will help streamline your gameplay more. If you play a ton of Skyrim, then there's almost no reason not to install this mod.
