Standby 1.0

Standby is a very stylish, slick and fast paced platform game where you must dash, slide, jump and shoot your way past all of the obstacles. The game has really cool visuals and a soundtrack that fits the fast pace of it perfectly.

It’s a lot of fun once you get to grips with the controls and although in this demo version there is only 9 levels available you may find it takes an awful long time to complete them because some parts can be really hard to get to grips with the quick changes in direction and it can become a bit frustrating trying to progress but always remains a lot of fun.

Each level adds a new element and way of moving your character and it’s very hard to stop playing once you have started. Watch out for the red highlighted areas as these will kill you unless you dash across them, the yellow walls will need to be shoot or hit at speed to blow them out of your way, and blue highlighted areas will make you bounce all over the place! Standby is a really cool and fun game that looks simple but can be incredibly difficult but will definitely have you coming back for more.
