Swords and Shadows 1.0

Swords and Shadows is a top down view, hack and slash dungeon running game where you are not just playing against the skeleton zombies but against the clock also. Inspired by both Zelda and Torchlight this game is very easy to just pick and play and get in to with the controls being so basic it’s simple yet a lot of fun, being the pre-alpha build it’s a little sparse at the moment and with only one model of enemy to slash with your sword but that doesn’t detract from the pure and simple fun that this game gives you.

The graphics look great in a fun cartoon sort of way and although killing your enemies is fairly easy having to get through all the dungeons before the clock runs out is what provides the real challenge here and will mean you may return to Swords and Shadows over and over until you manage to find a way to get through all the zombies and dungeons as fast as possible but beware of the pillar circles in the middle of some levels where you may see a sudden resurrection of many skeletons who will certainly slow you down when trying to reach the next exit.

Although a little rough around the edges this is a lot of fun and can only get better with future builds.
