Vessel 1.0

Vessel is a visual novel with a distinctive pop art style that is reminiscent of 80's pop culture magazines, the visual novel takes you on a strange journey and you play as the protagonist "Vessel".

The story is not exactly linear and how you find it may vary from player to player, it is abstract and bizarre but also intriguing and different, whether it is set in a dystopian future or parallel universe is unclear and references to machines who are beings and perhaps sentient machines are in the story but what exactly is happening is left up to the players (or viewers as there is very little playing going on) imaginations

The art style is unique and enjoyable but there are some rather risque pictures although why they are there and what they signify is never made completely clear, again a lot of the blanks are left to be filled in with by the players mind.

Vessel only takes a few minutes to play through and is certainly a unique and intriguing take on a visual novel but if you are looking for a linear story you will not find it here, that being said those who enjoy the bizarre and weird should certainly enjoy the few minutes they spend with this interactive visual novel.
