In order to follow this guide you will need to download WiFi Auditor. Please click the green button below.

First of all, we need to have WiFi Auditor downloaded and installed on our computer. When we open the file, we will see this first window. As we can see, the interface of this program is quite simple and intuitive.

In the “File” menu we can save configuration of available networks.

In the “Network” menu we have a list of all the available Wi-Fi networks detected by our computer.

When choosing “Manual” and “Calculate manually” we need to insert a MAC and a name, for example, of our router, for connecting to it through WiFi Auditor and checking its security.

In “Help” menu we can check for the latest program updates.

Now, as we click over the button “Check networks”, we will have a list of all the available networks and try to connect and check for their vulnerability.

We can choose any of them and press “Connect”.

As we can see, the program is checking for the possibility to connect to this network.

In this case, the selected network is protected and can’t be connected to our wifi network.
