Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim Review

Vanilla Skyrim has a variety of issues. Most would agree that the passage of time has not been kind to it, with a ton of people rightfully pointing out a ton of issues with it. Luckily, Skyrim has one of the largest modding scenes around and a ton of creators have dedicated themselves to fixing the game's many issues. One of them is Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim, a mod that serves to overhaul the combat to be more realistic.
To install the Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim, drag it into the Skyrim Data folder, as well as using LOOT to determine the optimal load order so you don't crash your game constantly, much like most Skyrim mods.
This mod does a ton of things to make combat a lot more engaging. Among the many changes is an improved combat AI, making them much more relentless and decisive. There are also a bunch of increased stamina costs across the board, which makes each action you take need more thought put into it. There are also injuries to body parts, each of which does something different.
For instance, an army injury may make you stagger occasionally. A chest injury will rapidly drain your stamina. A leg injury will give you a chance to trip when you run, and a spine injury may make you receive double damage from stagger and power attacks.
Overall, if you want to think about combat and have a little more depth to the combat, then you should definitely give Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim a download.
