Croquette League 1.0

Croquette League is a local two player game which plays a clever pun on one of the most popular games in recent years (Rocket League) but rather than driving in cars chasing a ball you play as two cats who chase each other and a ball of yarn (actually the pun falls a little flat when you realize that croquette is a type of food and perhaps the developers meant crochet as in the knitting term but then it wouldn’t rhyme so wonderfully!).

The cats are given a color at the start of each match the aim of the game is to keep the ball of yarn in your possession for the longest period of time, whoever manages to do that over the course of each short match will come out as the victor for the match so for example if you are the red cat you want to make sure the ball of yarn is red for as long as possible and if you are the blue cat you want it to be blue for as long as possible.

The movement of the cats can feel a little bit jerky and there is quite strange animations when they turn but it provides a good laugh if you’re looking for something a bit different and original to play with a friend.
