Halen: Ballad of the Blade Thief 1.5

Halen: Ballad of the Blade Thief is a fast paced third person, action platforming game where you play as the nimble and athletic Halen who is something of a human cat hybrid armed with a trusty plasma pistol and combat sword.

Halen is now a lone warrior after she has been betrayed by people she trusted which has lead her to take on a very dangerous job trying to recover a stolen artefact but you will encounter many enemies along the way and have to try to master Halen’s moves, agility and combo attacks to make your way past the opponents.

Halen: Ballad of the Blade looks like a game that you should pay for and it’s rare to come across such a highly polished game that’s free however it’s not without its flaws, if using a keyboard and mouse the controls at times can feel very clunky and disrupt your flow whilst playing the game so if you do have a controller it’s advisable to play with this.

The cut scenes are very cool with excellent voice acting and gives the game a professional element that makes this stand head and shoulders above other free games.
