Secret Files 3 1.0

Secret Files 3 opens with a prologue in Alexandria in 48BC where you take control of expert thief Menis Ra, you must use different skills to make your way past the guards, this part can be a little difficult as the instructions are not always clear as to what you need to do next and you may find yourself becoming frustrated at not being able to progress, especially after spending a prolonged time trying to work out how to get past the first guard waiting outside the building. If this sounds appealing to you this is your kind of game as there is many other similar obstacles as the game goes on, it is a lot about using your brain to make the right decisions, however there is only one solution to each problem, remember to use your inventory and combine different objects to get further.

This can be a problem at certain points when for example you have to put linen over the end of a grappling hook to be able to use it silently, maybe to the most linear of thinkers this would have been the most natural solution but I am sure there are some of us who it may take quite a long time to work this out for, and this part occurs only in the prologue of the game so there are many more similar problems to be worked out as you go further on.

This game will be enjoyable to people who love to solve puzzles and working out logical puzzles but not so much if you are looking for an exciting thrill a minute game.

The game does look a little dated now as being a few years old and the plot didn’t really stand out as being particularly exciting but Secret Files 3 is not necessarily a bad game and you may well enjoy this type of game especially if you consider yourself a puzzle solver.
