Bot Race 1.0

Bot Race is a fun little platformer where you play as a cute little robot and must try and avoid the obstacles which change with each race you start including spikes you must avoid and walls you must punch your way through, the bot also has the ability to float if you hit the button to jump twice which can come in very useful especially with many gaps to clear and the already mentioned spikes. The game is simple in essence but the play-ability is top class and trying to beat your top score over and over can become a very addictive problem! The fact that the obstacles change with each time you race also keeps it fresh and interesting as their is no way of knowing what obstacles will be thrown in your way.  

It can be very hard to get the hang of but still remains a game that you will keep coming back to as it is so much fun, even when you die repeatedly this game really has the just one more go factor working for it! Once you master the controls (if you are having trouble check out or handy guide) you will find that it's almost impossible to stop playing this game especially when you set a new distance record and it becomes an obsession to try and smash that record! 

The game itself was created within 72 hours for one of the Ludum Dare competitions and for something created in such a short space of time it really does look fantastic and plays really well, although there is not a huge amount of progression available in the game it’s has great game play and provides lots of fun and should give you a few hours of entertainment.
