This game boasts a bunch of different options for progression. Of course, there are the typical hunting down monsters, exploring dungeons, and accepting sidequests from the local townsfolk. There's also a ton of gathering activities like fishing and mining. The biggest thing this game does differently is that it lets you ride dragons. There are also features dedicated to satisfying your inner completionist by collecting monster cards dropped by mobs the first time you kill them or unlock achievements by completing set objectives.

There are also six playable classes, each with a ton of different unique abilities and mechanics. Each one of them does just enough differently to set themselves apart from typical RPG tropes. They also each feature enough depth to make it satisfying to master them.

All in all, if you're looking for an online game to sink a ton of time into, then DarkStory Online is a fine choice. There's not that much content in it, but not every game needs them.
