Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. Mateusz Skutnik is one of the best creators of the genre. However, he's been known to branch out occasionally. One of them is Daymare Cat.

You play as a disheveled little girl who's walking through the town's streets. You use the left and right arrow keys to move around and hit the down arrow to interact with things and go through doors. Pressing up will let you jump over the various obstacle syou find.

Other than a few sequences, this game is more about platforming than it is about exploring and puzzle-solving. Despite the art style being identical to the mainstream series, this is a bit less light-hearted because of the lack of characters and instead feels more surreal and creepy. The music adds to the tone, and makes you feel like something's always watching you.
