Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. One series stood out for its high quality production value is the Esklavos series. Let's look at Esklavos Chapter 1.

To play Esklavos Chapter 1, you have to unzip all the files into the folder you extracted the FPSoftware files to. Then, navigate to FPSoftware -> Basilisk-Portable -> Basilisk-Portable.exe. Afterward, drag the HTML onto the Basilisk browser.

This is an episodic series revolving around two aliens who are trapped in a prison camp after crashing on a planet during a routine delivery trip. It's worth noting that this first chapter of the 17-part series is only in Spanish - this will be rectified by the second chapter, so don't worry.

This series has surprisingly high production value. You can control both characters to solve puzzles, and both characters also have voice acting. The animation is also incredibly expressive and high effort, with a ton of frames in every animation cycle.

All in all, Esklavos Chapter 1 is a fantastic start to the series and will introduce you to a ton of different concepts that the future chapters will build on.
