Friday Night Funkin' has been a massive hit among the gaming community. It is insanely stylish while also hitting the nostalgia switch with its art style. It's also incredibly moddable, with practically every asset it has being editable. The community has created a ton of mods. One of the many is the Friday Night Funkin' Minus mod, which changes every character to resemble their icon and comes up with some surprisingly likable character designs.

To install the Friday Night Funkin' Minus, simply drag and drop the files from the mod into the folder where you extracted the original game files.

This replaces the first three weeks with new models that make each character resemble their simplified icon in the bottom of the screen. These models are surprisingly high quality, with many in the community actually preferring the redesigned girlfriend and boyfriend, as they feel that they better convey their character.

The songs themselves haven't changed at all, though. This is purely a visual change. On top of that, the models haven't been updated for a long while. It only covers up to Week 3, which is unfortunate because there are six weeks, with a seventh week coming very soon. At the rate things are going, it'll be a long time before it catches up.

Still, this is one of the better looking visual mods out there. Friday Night Funkin' Minus looks great, and while it's used for a silly joke, it's still a pretty well put together mod with minimal animation popping.
