Even before it was a thought by Rockstar Games, online multiplayer has always been a wish among fans of the Grand Theft Auto series for years. With its large modding community comes groups of modders that came together to make that a possibility before the newer generation of Grand Theft Auto games. Starting with Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and now GTA San Andreas - this group of modders specifically worked to bring you a multiplayer experience in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
San Andreas Multiplayer is one of the most popular multiplayer modifications for any video game available on the Internet and is still strongly supported and updated on an occasional basis. With between ten to twenty thousand players playing and around five thousand individually operated servers on a regular basis, you can be sure to find servers to connect to and play against others - even your friends - over the Internet.
The multiplayer experience allows users to code their own gamemodes for their own servers. Whether hosted privately or on dedicated servers, the experience brings you a wide array of gamemodes and servers to choose from for just about endless gameplay. If you have not played GTA: San Andreas in a while, dust it off and bring the game back to life with a multiplayer experience.
The installation of the modification is pretty straight forward compared to a lot of other mods. Make sure San Andreas is running on version 1.0, the original version when it was released. If you are not running on version 1, use GTA: San Andreas Downgrade Patch to patch your game down to version 1.
But this mod is not the only that is available for GTA San Andreas, you have here a complete list of GTA Mods: Popular Grand Theft Auto Mods for GTA IV and GTA San Andreas.
