Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid-size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. One creator that stood out for their high production quality is Esklavos. Let's look at an entry in one of their many series, Hormiga Escape.
To play Hormiga Escape, you have to unzip all the files into the folder you extracted the FPSoftware files to. Then, navigate to FPSoftware -> Basilisk-Portable -> Basilisk-Portable.exe. Afterward, drag the HTML onto the Basilisk browser.
This is a short miniseries that revolves around an ant - after all, Hormiga means ant in Spanish. It's a simple enough game, where you simply have to solve all the puzzles in the ant's way and guiding it back to the ant-hill.
As this is a miniseries that were created in their free time, the production quality can definitely be noticeably low. However, Esklavos has always had beautiful environments even in some of their lowest budget games.
All in all, Hormiga Escape is a fantastic entry into Esklavos's game library and really shows that even when they don't spend that much time on something, they can still create something beautiful yet still fun to play.
