Magic Camera 8.8.5

Magic camera is webcam software to add visual effects, animations, backgrounds and even flash GIF´s to your webcam.

There are some nice and fun effects available but not enough to keep me occupied for hours while I discovered them all, in fact I was not occupied for very long.

The main issue I have with Magic camera is that in comparison with other similar software there is a distinct lack of options available and whilst it is not all bad for example there are some nice scenes available I enjoyed being on a poster that was carried by two attractive women and some of the flash animations were nice and fun such as the under the sea effect there is just not enough choice to keep you entertained for a long time once you have discovered the few interesting effects that are available and it will not take you long to do so.

I also felt some of the effects could have been sharper such as the snow effect it looked a little grainy and was something of a disappointment.

There is also a section for masks available although within the free demo seem to all be Halloween themed it would have been nice to have a few other themes in there also.

In its favor it did seem to have more filters available than other similar programs but it had far less in the way of effects and animations.

I was using the free download and perhaps there is much more available in the official version but I would want to see a lot more displayed in the demo before I would ever consider upgrading to the full version.

Magic camera is fun to waste a few minutes with but I could not help but feel it needed polishing and a lot more options included.

Whilst not terrible there is superior webcam software available.
