Maplestory is one of the oldest MMORPGs around as well as one of the most popular. There is a whole generation of children that used to play it a decade ago. The first thing you'll notice is that the game is 3D, unlike the first game. Gameplay-wise, one thing that this game has over its predecessor is the pure amount of customization. Unlike the first game, you can customize a ton of different things that let you be as unique as possible. You can customize your home, your mounts, your clothing, and more. Another thing that veterans will notice is that you can hit max level in under a week - which is almost foreign to classic Maplestory players who had to play for months.

If you're not rushing to hit max level, however, there are a ton of mini-games that pop up from time to time that give you rewards. There are also a ton of different activities to just relax with, such as playing music and fishing. And there is also crafting! There's a ton of different activities and that sets it apart from Maplestory.
