Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. There are a ton of flash game creators that got into the craze, with Ena Game Studio being one of many. Let's look at one of their games, Mr Lal the Detective 12.

This game has a fairly interesting plot and graphical presentation but the grammar and spelling are still as terrible as ever. At this point, it's practically an ENA Games Studio feature, so make of it what you will. In this entry, greedy people have locked a businessman in a gym and you have to find a way to free him.

This game, unlike many other ENA games, doesn't have music, which I believe is for the better. The sound effects still clash a bit with the graphical style of the game, but not to the point where it's distracting.

As usual, the puzzles themselves are very straightforward and have a logical flow, which is fantastic. It's definitely the main reason why you'd want to be playing these games, with everything else being secondary.

All in all, if you're a fan of point-and-click games, then Mr Lal the Detective 12 is a fine use of your time, even though it has many flaws.
