Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. There are a ton of flash game creators that got into the craze, with Ena Game Studio being one of many. Let's look at one of their games, Mr Lal the Detective 31.
To play Mr Lal the Detective 31, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.
This game has a fairly interesting plot and graphical presentation but the writing quality has always varied wildly on the bad side, and this entry actually has an interesting premise that I haven't actually seen in a game that much. In this entry, a famous businessman has been murdered neare a graveyard and it's up to Mr Lal to find out who did it.
This game has sound effects and music, but they don't really fit together at all. The sound effects sound like they come from a cartoon while the music sounds like it came from a solemn drama, which doesn't fit together to say the least.
As usual, the puzzles themselves are very straightforward and have a logical flow, which is fantastic. It's definitely the main reason why you'd want to be playing these games, with everything else being secondary.
All in all, if you're a fan of point-and-click games, then Mr Lal the Detective 31 is a fine use of your time, even though it has many flaws.
