Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. There are a ton of flash game creators that got into the craze, with Ena Game Studio being one of many. Let's look at one of their games, Mr Lal the Detective 5.
To play Mr Lal the Detective 5, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.
This game has a fairly interesting plot and graphical presentation but somehow, the grammar has degraded from the previous entries and devolves into near incoherency. In this entry, there are two bombs planted in the city and you have to help Mr Lal find them.
This game, unlike many other ENA games, doesn't have music, which I believe is for the better. The sound effects still clash a bit with the graphical style of the game, but not to the point where it's distracting.
As usual, the puzzles themselves are very straightforward and have a logical flow, which is fantastic. It's definitely the main reason why you'd want to be playing these games, with everything else being secondary.
All in all, if you're a fan of point-and-click games, then Mr Lal the Detective 5 is a fine use of your time, even though it has many flaws.
