One Thousand Lies 1.0

One Thousand Lies is a visual novel which certainly provides value for money considering that it’s free there’s a lot of dialogue to sink your teeth in to here and unlike many visual novels it’s actually very intelligent and well written.

Starting with a rather metaphorical opening exchange between a piano player and a wannabe pupil that then leads in to some more interesting philosophical statement you’re soon transported in to see everything the eyes of a school student and his two friends and the initial story starts out with a nice twist making you think that this maybe a very short story but then it expands afterwards and runs and runs admittedly after such a promising beginning it does have a tendency to fall in to the kind of classic Japanese culture obsessed visual novel but it also has a lot more humor and intelligence than a lot of visual novels around and if you enjoy these kinds of things you will surely not be disappointed with One Thousand Lies.
