Point and click adventure games were incredibly popular in the 90s and early 2000s, but have fizzled out mostly as a genre save for a few like many of the Telltale games. However, the genre lasted far longer on the internet. One of the most well-known adventure game series is Reincarnation, a unique game about a demon trying to outplay god in the reincarnation cycle by dragging people down to hell. Let's look at Reincarnation: The Backfire of Hell.
To play Reincarnation: The Backfire of Hell, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.
This game's story introduces a unique take on reincarnation. Reincarnation in this series is a loophole that lets souls redeem themselves out of hell in a new life and it is your job as a demon to drag these souls back before they have a chance to save themselves.
This entry is a Halloween special, and really explores what it's like when the demon doesn't have to slink around hiding everywhere. It's a very welcome change in pace compared to every other entry.
Much like the other entries, the quality of the voice acting is low but the delivery is extremely good. It gives everybody a ton of personality.
The gameplay is fair and logic driven, but there are a few moments where you need to pixel hunt, which are the lowest of the low when it comes to point and click games no matter the context.
All in all, if you're a fan of point-and-click games, then Reincarnation: The Backfire of Hell is very worthy of your time.
