Replicant The Search 1.0

Replicant The Search is a very stylish and futuristic game that takes its inspiration from the movie Blade Runner and was recently created for the “Movie Game Jam” where all submissions needed to be based on a movie.

In the game you wander the streets of a futuristic city while the previous events that happened in these locations are shown using holograms, the game has a very noir style to it and it’s not particularly clear exactly what your objectives are but it is alluded to that you are looking for something or someone that may lead to more clues as to who that you are.

Set in a futuristic and long deserted version of Las Vegas Replicant The Search has a couple of puzzle elements to it but mostly it’s about trying to find clues as to exactly what has happened that has lead you to be here.

Sadly it’s all over very quickly due to having been developed in a very short space of time for the game jam, however it’s an enjoyable and unique experience where the world itself becomes a character in the game and it’s worth checking out just to soak up some of this strange and futuristic atmosphere.
