City and Theme Park building simulation games were pretty popular back in the 2000s, with a couple of them popping up every year. However, restaurant simulators were pretty rare, and even today, there aren't many games where you focus on serving the customers. It's a different story in Flash games, though. The Papa franchise has tons of entries that span a ton of different food types. Let's look at Papa's Scooperia.

If you've played all the other games, you already know what you're in for. The gameplay loop is very similar to the other games in the franchise. You have four stations that all have their own unique minigame that you need to master to get the most points possible. This time around, you're making cookies and topping them with ice cream, which is where the titular scooping comes from. The more points you have, the more money you get, which lets you upgrade your restaurant to be better and more efficient as you progress in the game.

Outside of that, however, things are very much the same. The dining room is still around, refined a tiny bit this time, and you can still customize your characters with some extra options this time around. Papa's Scooperia is another solid entry into the series.
