Tank shooters have been getting more and more popular recently, with accessible online vehicle games getting more and more popular. A mix of vehicle customization and tight controls along with a smooth learning curve makes it an addicting experience. It's no wonder that more and more developers are trying to get a slice of the pie. One of the latest is Tank Force Online.

First thing's first - this game is a cross-platform game. It's also a mobile game on the side, and while the graphics are impressive, its monetization is much less so. The gameplay is incredibly arcadey, with almost no realism in terms of shooting, tank movement, or anything like that. Although the tutorial says that tanks have weak points, you still need to shoot them a ton of times before they go down. This makes matches incredibly long and frustrating.

Another disappointment is customization. Almost everything that looks good needs real money to purchase. If you want to grind for one of the rare nonpremium ones, it still takes a ton of time to do so. And while the game may look incredibly pretty, the map design themselves is very flat and boring.

All in all, if you're already playing a game like World of Tanks, there's very little reason to play Tank Force Online. If you simply want something to scratch your tank combat itch, though, this should do fine.
