Simulation games aren't exactly very common nowadays, especially ones that are realistic. Flipping all those switches and calibrating isn't exactly fun unless you're specifically looking for something like that. However, there are plenty of games that toe the line between pure realism and fun gameplay, and Armored Warfare is one of those.

Installing Armored Warfare is simple. Just run the installer and pick where you want to install them. The first thing you'll notice when you boot it up is how beautiful the game is. The game uses CryEngine 3, which is pretty much specialized for this type of game. The details are masterfully rendered, from shadows to textures to reflections. You can see the glare in your crosshairs, the spray of water from the nearby pond, and the smoke from your rounds. Accompanying this is fantastic sound rendering, making this game amazingly immersive.

The main base of the gameplay is the massive amount of tanks you can choose from, coming from all around the world. It doesn't matter if you plan on playing a massive behemoth with comically powerful weapons or a light model that can run circles around your enemies. 

There are also a few modes that you can choose from - PVP and PVE. Both heavily involve teamwork, which is a core part of the gameplay. In other words, bringing friends along will improve your experience dramatically. All in all, Armored Warfare is a very solid game, and if you enjoy tank warfare or just multiplayer games in general, you should give it a shot.
