At least once, we have all been in a situation where we were watching a video on some random website - or maybe one of our favorite sites, like YouTube - and we wanted to download the video that we were watching. Seems like a pretty simple request, right? Well not so much. We look around on the site: there’s no download button. We try to type in the url for the video into one of those online video downloader websites and they have no idea what you are trying to do. You’re told that the site that you’re attempting to download from is not supported, or that the link is broken; you’re given some sort of excuse.
What if we could do away with excuses once and for all. What if there was an application that did not make excuses for why it couldn’t download the video that you wanted; what if it just did. And if it could not download the video natively, what if there were an application that offered you options and different ways of obtaining your video rather than blaming you or the site that you’re trying to download from. Well there is. It’s called TubeDigger and it is a video downloader that makes no excuses.
With TubeDigger 4.7.5 you can download videos from almost any tube site out there. And when the native downloading capabilities work properly, they work flawlessly. The application is able to download videos fast and easy. If there are other videos embedded in the site, it will download those as well. You can also specify which videos to download and which videos not to download. You can specify the location that you would like to save the videos as well. If a video has more than one version (720p, 1080p, etc) all of the versions will be shown in the downloads window and you can choose which one to download.
Sold yet? Well what about when native download capabilities fail. What about the times when TubeDigger is unable to properly access the videos on a site and download them or provide you with different options for the video or other videos on the site? This is where TubeDigger’s video recording capabilities kick in and shine. The recorder can easily record any video that you play within TubeDigger’s in app browser. Be sure that your flash player is up to date though, because TubeDigger will not play nice if it is not. Accessing the video recording mode is rather simple: with just a click of a button in the application, you can seamlessly switch to and from download mode or record mode.
With TubeDigger’s two modes for accessing and obtaining your favorite videos, you should essentially be able to download almost any video on the internet. With the free 15-day trial, you have unlimited download access from YouTube and limited download and recording access from other sites on the internet. TubeDigger should definitely be on your list of must have applications; it is definitely on mine.
