There are a ton of ways you can modify your desktop wallpaper, but few would think to use Bing to do it. However, somebody out there has come up with that exact idea, tapping into Bing's vast resources to automatically generate a wallpaper every once in a while. That person created ZapBing to realize that concept.
The installation sequence for ZapBing is straightforward and easy. The interface doesn't appear until you actually go into the system tray and open its options, and you'll find that it's an incredibly organized and simple design. It's incredibly non-intrusive because of that, staying in the system tray unless you want it specifically. If you need help working the program, there's a help file that you can access by right-clicking on it in the system tray.
You can also cycle through a couple of preset modes. The default is just a simple picture in the center with a stylized border. You can also choose Full Screen, Border, Polaroid, Pile, Center +, and Center -. Each of these settings do exactly what it sounds like it does.
The program automatically creates a folder on your hard drive with a large amount of Bing pictures, which you can use as wallpapers. If you want, you can also shove some of your own pictures into that folder so the program will cycle through it. You can also order it to check Bing for new images at a user-inputted period of time if you want. Overall, ZapBing is a handy tool that barely takes up resources. If you need something like this, then give this program a download.
