Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. Now, they're usually relegated to mid-size productions or simple indie titles. The genre also proved incredibly popular among Japanese flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. There are a ton of flash game creators that got into the craze, with tomoLaSiDo being one of many. Let's look at one of their games, Challenge to Escape 4.
To play Challenge to Escape 4, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.
The first impressions are surprisingly good. The whole game is rendered fully in 3D, which is a rarity among flash games as it's fairly high effort. There is no story in this game, which isn't exactly rare among flash games, so it's hardly a downside. The focus is on the gameplay, and the gameplay definitely delivers.
The puzzles are incredibly fun to play through. They're pretty bite-size and are clearly intended to just fill up some spare time you have. The puzzles are very intuitive and all the objects that can be interacted with are very noticeable so you don't have to go pixel hunting.
All in all, if you're a fan of point-and-click games, then Challenge to Escape 4 is worth ten minutes of your time. It's a very worthwhile use of your time.
