While the default Windows Explorer does its job competently enough, there are a ton of upgrades and quality of life improvements that users of Windows have been clamoring for over the years. Microsoft has promised these features will come with time, but other than a few unreleased beta periods, there haven't been any official releases. People have gotten annoyed with the wait and have taken it upon themselves to create what they want, and Clover is one of those programs.
To install Clover, all you need to do is run the installer.
As soon as you boot it up, you'll find that it is completely integrated with the Windows Explorer interface. It doesn't change its functionality at all - you can still access the default menus, the navigation and the preview pane, but you also have the option of opening multiple tabs.
You can also use the application to create shortcuts for your frequently used folders and to access them from the bookmarks bar. The bookmark manager is very similar to the tabs you can find in Google Chrome. You can also add a new bookmark by right clicking the tab or by using the Control + D shortcut.
This modification can have a hide impact on your productivity since you can easily manage files for more than one folder all in one window. Overall, if you're a productivity freak, then you should definitely give Clover a download. It can massively change the way you do things, and you'd be crazy not to at least give it a try.
