DOOM SHINOBI Review
Last Updated: 2022-02-21 05:06:26
DOOM is one of the oldest FPSes in existence, and its engine is famously so robust that it can run on pretty much anything and also create pretty much anything. From FPSes to RPGs to companions to a city living game, it has a ton of different mods that can all do different things. One of the more unique ones out there is DOOM SHINOBI.
To install DOOM SHINOBI, you need to have GZDoom. Then, copy the .pk3 file into the GZDoom folder and drag it on top of the GZDoom.exe to start playing.
This is one of the most incredible DOOM mods I've seen out there. It changes the game from a fight person shooter to a third-person hack and slash game. The new character feels like a character straight out of Ninja Gaiden. He has wall-running, Ninjutsu/Ninpo, two unique weapons that each have a unique combo, and more. Hell, he can even block bullets straight up. It's truly impressive just how seamlessly this ninja can drop in on practically any DOOM map and feel like he fits right in.
And that's not even the end of it. While the mod is finished, the developer plans on adding even more content, such as more weapons, fatalities, custom enemies and bosses, ninja fights, and even a full map pack that might as well be a total conversion mod at that point.
Overall, DOOM SHINOBI is an incredibly impressive total overhaul mod that the DOOM mod community has been getting known for.
