Escape from Tesshi-e's Room 2 1.0

There are a couple of incredibly well-known figures in the online flash point-and-click escape room scene. One of them is Tesshi-E, who is known for simple, straightforward, but satisfying escape room games. Let's look at one of their games - Escape from Tesshi-e's Room 2.

To play Escape from Tesshi-e's Room 2, you have to unzip all the files into the folder you extracted the FPSoftware files to. Then, navigate to FPSoftware -> Basilisk-Portable -> Basilisk-Portable.exe. Afterward, drag the HTML onto the Basilisk browser.

The story is pretty much the same as all Tesshi-E's other games. You are invited to Tesshi-E's room and you have to find your way out.

There is an animated intro and the protagonist's thoughts are conveyed at the bottom of the screen as you play the game. Unfortunately, this game doesn't have an English translation - attempting to select it will tell you that it's still a work in progress.

This game has a special examine item button so you can zoom in and interact with an item in your inventory closely. This will prove essential as you try to escape from the room as there are some hints that can only be found by examining items closely. Other than that, just click on the sides of the screen to rotate the view of the room, click on an item to zoom in and interact with it, and click the bottom of the screen to zoom back out.

All in all, Escape from Tesshi-e's Room 2 is a great game that really highlights how talented Tesshi-E is at puzzle design.
