Her Tears were my Light 1.0

Her Tears were my Light is a very profound and beautifully animated short visual novel game where you play as a character called Time and are lead to a chance meeting with Space (although perhaps it wasn’t so much chance as it was fate) a girl who cries, but whenever she does her tears become stars, however you are immediately drawn to Space and don’t want to see her upset, but she does seem to cry quite a lot!

A unique feature you have playing as Time is that you can control time so if you do something wrong or upset your new friend Space you can go back and change the action that lead to this consequence however it’s not all that easy when another character comes in to play and seems to put a stop to this blossoming friendship (or even romance if you play your cards right) and that’s when you will have to start using your time bending abilities.

The animations are really nice in Her Tears Were my Light and it’s a very clever and deep way of telling a story of love that has been happening for all of eternity, and by putting faces to things as profound and unpredictable as Time and Space the developer has weaved a very clever and intricate story here with some very nice use of metaphor and very conjuring up beautiful imagery.

Fans of visual novels will really enjoy this game.
