Lost Constellation 1.0

Lost Constellation was kind of a teaser game for Night in the Woods before it was released, you play as Adina Astra a female alligator astrologer and despite many warnings that you will die on this the “longest night” you continue your journey deeper and deeper in to the words encountering many different characters such as moody cats and coffin sellers who want to take the fee before you die, which makes sense really.

The game is very much more story focused than game play but it is very beautiful and there is many places where you may find yourself laughing out loud as it is peppered with humor at times you may wonder if the humor is intentional which makes it even more clever.

The graphics are 2D but work very well for this type of story game, the story and characters are endearing and interesting and although the game is not particularly long, you will probably finish it in around an hour or so but it may well leaving you wanting more which if it does you can obtain Night in the Woods.

The soundtrack is also very nice and fitting for the atmosphere.

There are some puzzles scattered within the story but they are not too challenging and perhaps this is a slight flaw as if they had been it would have added a little more time to the overall game but as it’s free we can’t really complain.
